Sarah + Stephen

Sarah & Stephen were such a pleasure to work with! We started our planning almost a year to date from their wedding date. Sarah had a vision from the beginning for a vintage chic wedding. Thanks to Classic Vintage Rentals we were able to achieve just that!

The ceremony gazebo was draped in greenery and mauve colored florals, it made the perfect back drop for these two to exchange vows. They had the sweetest Tree Ceremony during the ceremony itself, where two families became one. How cool they get to plant that tree in their yard and forever remember what it symbolized on their wedding day.

Cocktail hour was a huge hit with misters near the bar area, a tipi for the kids to play in in the garden, and of course drinks for those to sip on during the hottest day in July! Guests enjoyed a family style dinner while the kids enjoyed a fun coloring table full of stickers, stencils and markers! We had so much fun setting this kids table up. The couple’s first dance was the greatest, their son surprised the bride & groom by singing their favorite song and soon after all the kids joined in for a family dance. It was the sweetest thing ever. The guests took over the dance floor following toasts & laughs and it was night to remember. Thank you, Sarah & Stephen, for letting me be a part of your big day! I wish you all the happiness in your new marriage!

When Mikaila & Jace asked Meghan to be their coordinator, she was thrilled to be a part of their big day. Mikaila & Jace met in high school and were friends before they started dating. The two are incredibly artistic and knew they wanted to incorporate Mikaila's love of watercolor into their event with a sunset palette full of corals, pinks, oranges, and grays. As they entered Abernethy Center, guests signed a handmade guest book painting that they water-colored and signed their name in a square. Bella Bloom added a pop of color to the ceremony and reception with beautiful arrangements in hand-painted watercolor mason jars made by Mikaila and Jace. Surrounded by so many friends and family, the two were married in Abigail's Garden and the love of this couple was certainly felt throughout their ceremony. After a cocktail hour filled with corn-hole and folk music, guests made their way into the tent for dinner. Dinner concluded with an epic sing off toast by Mikaila and Jace's sisters. Guests made their way to the lawn for a balloon send off prayer and contra dancing with the Rich Goss BandJace then surprised Mikaila with a choreographed dance with his groomsmen that got the whole crowd on the dance floor. What a night!

Katie, with the help of her coordinator ELIZABETH, planned up a romantic and timeless evening. Katie and Lane said “I do” in the which ABERNETHY CHAPEL which is picture perfect and situated among beautiful gardens with lush green trees. As the Northwest rain started to come down, guests made their way from the chapel to the ballroom. The room was filled with candles and gorgeous rosette linens on all the guest tables. Most importantly the room was also filled with personal touches like Hawaiian leis as a nod to Katie’s heritage and pictures printed on their wedding cake. During the formal dances Katie and Lane played a slide show dedicated to their loved ones. There was not a dry eye in the room! The wedding evening was made even sweeter as Katie surprised Lane with a amazing wedding gift and get away car, a vintage truck that Lane had been eyeing. Katie keeping it a secret purchased the truck months before the wedding and arranged for it to be Lanes gift on their wedding day.Talk about a perfect send off.
