Bend Wedding

Amanda + John

Get ready to feast your eyes on this wedding! Kimberly Kay captured the stunning wedding weekend for Amanda and John at Brasada Ranch.

Amanda & John wanted a fun, vibrant and destination weekend for their family friends. With so many of their family and friends traveling from all around the country, we wanted to make sure the weekend was memorable for all.

The two shared their first look beneath the iconic bridge at Brasada Ranch before exchanging gifts.

The ceremony was held on the Range Lawn with the sunshine and stunning backdrop of the Cascade Peaks.

Guests were treated to pre-ceremony bubbles and mini tea sandwiches to kick things off on the right foot!

Cocktail hour followed down on the Trestle Bridge, and then guests were ushered up to dinner and dancing in the barn.

Amanda and John arranged for seating outside which included bright gorgeous flowers from Heirloom Floral and a curated place setting designed by Amanda and her mom - with no detail being left out.

The tables were absolutely stunning.

After dinner guests were invited into the Barn where Curated Events had set up lounge furniture and enjoyed bites & cake from Foxtail Bakery.

Blue Wave Band played hit after hit keeping the dance floor packed!

Needless to say, all the festivities continued late into the night. It was a fun filled ranch wedding weekend! Congratulations again to Amanda & John!

I loved working with Bridal Bliss! I worked with Elizabeth and she made everything so seamless. She was always one step ahead of me and more than happy to help out. She went above and beyond what was required. I would highly recommend!

Shannon + Bill

Shannon and Bill's fall wedding was an absolute favorite of mine! From the get go, Shannon and I hit it off and had a blast planning her and Bill's big day. Every meeting we both got equally excited about her fall color scheme, custom dress by Elizabeth Dye, and their big day at Pronghorn

The ceremony was sweet and intimate in the entrance of the classic golf resort. The fireplace and floral covered mantle was the perfect backdrop for Shannon and Bill to say I do!

Post ceremony, Shannon and Bill snuck off for some amazing sunset photos with the incredible Benjamin Edwards. Guests mingled in the bar area and even found themselves outside on a cool fall evening sitting by the fireplaces. It really was the perfect setting for a dreamy fall day.

Dinner went off without a hitch and guests listened to sweet toasts from Shannon's son and both of Bill's sons. It was so sweet watching two families come together as one!

Blue Wave Band had guests on their feet dancing the night away. It was an absolute perfect night and I couldn't be happier I got to be apart of the celebration. Shannon and Bill, you were two of my absolute favorites! Congratulations on your new marriage!

Anna + Alan

We spend a good amount of our season traveling to different parts of Oregon. I was so excited to get to head down to Bend to help Anna and Alan with their beautiful golf club wedding last July!

After a traditional catholic ceremony at the new St.Francis church, the couple chose the gorgeous Broken Top Golf Club to host their wedding reception. While the two met living in Wyoming, they chose to come back to Anna’s home state to tie the knot.

Guests arrived to the golf club and were greeted with handmade photo collages from the couple. Once inside, they were able to imbibe in some local beer and wine while overlooking the fabulous greens of the golf course. Kelly Anne Photography finished up with the bridal party shots, and once everyone was back inside, it was time for a delicious meal prepared by the golf club.

Bend Event Sound was on hand to assist with toasts as well as set the musical tone for the evening. After a beautiful series of speeches, everyone got to indulge in a mouthwatering piece of cake from Dreamin' Desserts.

The rest of the night was for drinking, dancing and, if you were so inclined, a keepsake photo from Adventure Box Photo Booth. Anna and Alan, your wedding was such a joy to be a part of!! Thank you for having me there to celebrate with you!

Wow, I don’t know where to even start. Bridal Bliss did a wonderful job preparing my wedding. They were very professional and communicated exceptionally well. When it was the day of the wedding, Cam made my day so easy and relaxing. The vendors all knew the plan, the schedule, and what they were expected. Cam again did an amazing job and I truly enjoyed working with her. Thank you again Bridal Bliss!

Niki + Amit

Niki and Amit love adventures and exploring, so when it came time to pick out a wedding venue they wanted to share this love with their guests. Niki and Amit landed on Sunriver, Oregon for their 3 day wedding. With all of their guests traveling from out of town and about 90% of them never having visited Oregon this wedding was going to be their best adventure yet! Niki and Amit being two of the sweetest people and knowing that all their guests are traveling for the weekend planned an unforgettable time for everyone.

The weekend was planned to perfection and the weather could not have been better. The festivities kicked off on Friday night with a Garba and Mehndi party. Guests were treated to an amazing set up at Besson Commons with lounge furniture, food stations, henna, S'mores and dancing all night long.

Saturday kicked off with a lunch followed by a Baraat. The Baraat filled the streets of Sunriver with colorful attire, dancing and Amit riding in his red convertible.  Guests made their way to the Great Hall where Niki's family greeted Amit's family which kicked off the wedding ceremony. The ceremony was held on the Bachelor Lawn where West Coast Event Productions and Heirloom Florals did an amazing job transforming the space. The lush florals on the Mandap and ombre floral runner were two details that made their ceremony spectacular.

After a little break in the day guests were invited back to the Great Hall for the reception. Niki and Amit dreamed up a gorgeous vision for inside the Great Hall. The tables were adorned with lush florals and fresh fruit spilling over the centerpieces and onto the tables. Around the room Aspen Trees were glowing with hanging candles from the branches. The best part however, the room was filled up with all their guests ready to celebrate and dance the night away. From family performances to a packed dance floor it was clear guests were there to celebrate and shower Niki and Amit with all the love possible.

Natalie + Jordan | Bend Wedding Planner | Oregon Event Design | Powers Studios

Have I mentioned how much I love winter weddings? When the weather is chilly and often bleak, it is a wonderful time to cozy up with the ones we love and throw a great party! Natalie and Jordan did just that.  They chose Sunriver for their venue which already held so many great childhood memories, and turned the rustic Great Hall into an elegant backdrop for their celebration.

Fragrant flowers in shades of ivory, champagne and pale peach were loosely arranged with lush greenery for a dreamy garden feel, and hundreds of votive candles mixed in with chunky ivory pillar candles and gold and glass geometric lanterns added warmth and set the romantic atmosphere. Thoughtful symbolism added subtle personalization to their day: garden roses in Natalie’s bouquet were reminiscent of her grandma’s rose garden; rosemary sprigs at each place setting were a nod to fond memories of times spent in her grandpa’s herb and vegetable garden; the living ivy strewn along the head table was a cutting from the same ivy plant that was used in Natalie’s mother’s wedding flowers. Natalie also continued the tradition of incorporating accents of gardenia into her flowers like her mother had done for her wedding, the intoxicating fragrance connecting to so many fond memories.

After dinner and a luscious dessert bar filled with a variety of treats, guests traded their fancy shoes for flip flops and hit the dance floor! The dance floor was packed all night long, making the patio outside a refreshing escape for guests (including Phil Knight!) looking to cool off. They were greeted with s’mores to roast around fire pits and a whiskey bar for those who wished to enjoy a nightcap. What a party!  Congratulations again, Natalie and Jordan!

When I first started planning our wedding I didn’t think we would need a wedding coordinator. After my first meeting with Bridal Bliss, I quickly changed my mind. I was immediately at ease with the level of customer service and expertise I received in that initial meeting. Being paired with Kirsten was by far a saving grace. She was there for every detail, every meeting and always available to me throughout the entire planning process. She brought our dream day to life. She coached me when I needed coaching, guided me when I needed guidance but most importantly she gave me the ability to bring every detail together to bring this amazing celebration to life. She was our rock on our wedding day and even when things didn’t go perfectly, they did as far as we were concerned because she was always at ease. Our wedding day was one we will never forget thanks to Kirsten and the Bridal Bliss team. If there is one thing I learned throughout this entire experience it’s to enjoy everything that goes into the planning process. The wedding day is amazing but all the memories and moments that go into the planning help create a special bond and many happy memories to look back on. A huge thank you to Kirsten and the entire Bridal Bliss team for making our dreams a reality!

Will + Scott | Bend Wedding | Central Oregon Event Planning and Design | Sergio Mottola Photography | Chad Dowling Production

When Will and Scott came to Bridal Bliss to assist with planning their wedding celebration, they had one goal in mind: to have as much fun as possible with their friends and family! With friends and family traveling to join them from around the country, they worked with KIRSTEN and selected BRASADA RANCH in Bend, Oregon to host their weekend-long party.  The couple filled their guests’ time with all kinds of fun activities for their guests from white-water rafting on the Deschutes River to golfing the Brasada golf course with it’s spectacular views.  As you will see from the photos (also featured in Portland Bride + Groom Magazine), Will and Scott love to laugh!

The ceremony was held on the lawn in the afternoon sunshine with the stunning natural backdrop of nine Cascade Peaks. Close friends provided the music – a string duo during the prelude, bagpipes for the processional, and “Somewhere Over The Rainbow” was sung during the ceremony. Guests were delighted with the inclusion of Will and Scott’s lovable canine companions, Zeus and Booker, as the ring bearers following after Will and Scott’s nephews who dropped doggie treats down the aisle rather than petals during the processional. Officiated by their dear friend who first introduced the couple, the ceremony was heartfelt and moving, highlighted with outbursts of laughter and a special personalized reading of Dr. Seuss’ “Oh The Places You’ll Go” by Will and Scott’s nieces. It was a very emotional day for everyone.

Cocktail hour followed immediately after the ceremony, and then guests were ushered to a dinner and dancing reception at the barn. Seating was arranged both indoors and outdoors creating the feel of a relaxed summer party. A stage was set on the lawn and Will and Scott surprised their guests with an 80’s cover band, RADICAL REVOLUTION, and the party turned into a summer concert! To keep the energy high at such high altitude an oxygen bar was offered for guests to enjoy, and the novelty was a hit! Meanwhile the s’mores bar, oxygen bar and fire pits drew guests who preferred to relax quietly and converse with old friends and family. Needless to say, all festivities continued late into the night. It was a fabulously fun filled ranch wedding weekend. Congratulations again to Will and Scott!

Laurie + Brett | Portland Wedding | Central Oregon Event Planning and Design | Jessica Hill Photography | Zest Floral | Flip Flop Sounds

Laurie and Brett’s classically chic wedding was held on a picture perfect day at BLACK BUTTE RANCH. The Bride wore Vera Wang and the sun shone on this beautiful couple as they said their “I Do’s” in front of the backdrop of the picturesque Three Sisters mountains. The love was really felt as the couple was lauded by their family and friends. The toasts were beautiful and personal with stories of Laurie & Brett’s childhoods and relationship. The tables were set with gorgeous white floral arrangements and pacific northwest blueberries by ZEST FLORAL. The couple danced to “Tiny Dancer” by Elton John, and the lyrics spoke to where they first met with “Blue jean baby…L.A. Lady…” Guests dined on local fare and delicious wedding cake with a nod to the couples love for beer in the Black Butte Porter Cake.  Sadly, the couple was in a horrible car accident headed home from Central Oregon and spent some time in the hospital.  We are thrilled to share that they are both on the mend and enjoying married life to the fullest! | Portland Wedding | Central Oregon Event Planning and Design | Jessica Hill Photography | Zest Floral | Flip Flop Sounds | Portland Wedding | Central Oregon Event Planning and Design | Jessica Hill Photography | Zest Floral | Flip Flop Sounds | Portland Wedding | Central Oregon Event Planning and Design | Jessica Hill Photography | Zest Floral | Flip Flop Sounds
