Country Club Wedding

Lizzy + Jermaine

From the moment I met Lizzy & Jermaine I knew we were going to have a blast planning their wedding. Lizzy & Jermaine are the most genuinely nice people I have ever met and all they wanted was to throw an epic party for all their out of town guests to enjoy.

I couldn't wait until their wedding on June 30th! I was just so excited for these two to start "phase 2" of their lives!

As we got to know each other a bit more I realized that Jermaine is a total sneakerhead and since I dabble in that world I knew we were the perfect match.

Beautiful personalized signs were all over the grounds letting guests know where to sign their guest book or to unplug their phones during the ceremony.

With the help of family and friends, Melissa Coe Celebrant, officially announced them as Husband and Wife and the party was underway!

After the ceremony guests were treated to signature cocktails (my favorite being the "Champagne Mami" - shout out to Drake!), mini chicken & waffles, and lawn games while photos finished up.

With Oregon Golf Club's beautiful tent as our canvas Lizzy and Jermaine got to work putting together a beautiful wedding.

With the help of Bella Blooms, Letters & Dust and Bridgewood Event Rentals we were able to bring their vision to life.

Bella Blooms provided all the flowers and garland to really pop the space into a classy yet modern formal garden party. Everything was absolutely beautiful.

The night was a blast from dinner, dancing and tear jerking speeches.

The groomsmen and basically all the guests attending all changed out of their formal shoes and into some pretty rad Nike's. My personal favorite? Jermaine's super rare Off-White Jordan 1's designed by none other than Virgil Abloh.

Lizzy and Jermaine are surrounded by an amazing support system and I can't wait to see what this next adventure holds for them.

Thank you, Lizzy and Jermaine! I was beyond honored to be part of your wedding day! I wish you both nothing but love and happiness in "phase  2".

Jenna + Greg

I cannot begin to tell you what a joy it was to plan Jenna + Greg's wedding.

With the bride + groom busy in medical school, it was Jenna's  mother Kristine whom I had the pleasure of working with.  This is one exceptional woman. Classy, sassy, smart and knows what she wants!

When it came to the wedding, Kristine + Jenna had a few priorities....a meaningful ceremony, over-the-top floral, an abundance of food and a super fun party.  They were definitely speaking my language!!

The ceremony, at St. Mary's Cathedral, was officiated by Archbishop Schwietz, a close family friend who had performed every family sacrament for the past ten years.

A 12 person choir along with strings and a trumpet fanfare set the tone for the beautiful ceremony and the full Catholic mass was everything the couple was hoping for.

The floral was beyond exceptional.  From adorned pillars and railings at the club, tables overflowing with fluffy peonies and a dripping chandelier, no detail was overlooked.

Some other fun details were the sequin linens, ombre escort card wall, a delicious cake covered in intricate sugar flowers (and topped with Jenna's grandparents' cake topper) and the bride's stunning Hayley Paige gown from Anna's Bridal

Guests were treated to tons of passed appetizers and a five course meal which ended with digestivi carts.

The toasts had everyone in tears and really made clear what a pedestal Jenna's five siblings held her on. And Uncle Lou, a 90 year old relative serenaded the couple and celebrated his 67 wedding anniversary the next day.

With a dream team of vendors, the sweetest clients and a perfect sunset, this wedding was certainly one for the books.

After our daughter became engaged, the next joyous decision we were able to celebrate was choosing Nora and her team at Bridal Bliss. All stress and anxiety were immediately alleviated as Bridal Bliss flew into action, turning our daughter and her fiancé’s wedding dreams into reality. Every detail was meticulously coordinated with Nora offering her expert counsel and experience at each step of the way. The vendors that Nora assembled, all of whom were awarded the best vendor of the year award for Portland, were team players who worked to create a conception that was beautiful, romantic, and breathtaking. Nora will forever hold a place in our hearts as we look, for generations, upon a celebration that was one of the best days of our lives.

Anne + Rob

Just wait - this wedding is a stunner and such a perfect wedding as the weather turned from summer to fall on September 30th.

Anne and Rob select Waverley Country Club as the perfect venue for their wedding. Anne's style is timeless and elegant, the perfect combo for the venue. When working through the design and style for her wedding, her vision included lush flowers with a romantic details. The wedding day went off without a hitch.

Anne and Rob said "I Do" in the ballroom with not a dry eye in the room. After the heartfelt ceremony, guests were invited into a gorgeous room for dinner and toasts. The tables were adorned with candles and beautiful flowers, vibrant in colors making the room glow.

Cocktail hour kicked off and reception was set for a party. The tables were adorned with candles and beautiful flowers, vibrant in colors making the room glow.

Vihangi + Alex

Vi and Alex are such a wonderful couple and I truly enjoyed getting to know them! They had a stunning vision of vibrant florals and beautiful details for their wedding at Oregon Golf Club and wanted to make sure their guests had a great time!

It was a sunny Fall day and they were married in the rose garden at Oregon Golf Club by one of their closest friends. Guests then enjoyed signature cocktails and appetizers on the patio before making their way into the reception tent.

The reception tent was filled with vibrant fuchsia arrangements by Bella Bloom Florals for a fun pop of color in the white tent to match the bridesmaids Saris. Before the party got started, Jessica Hill snuck the bride and groom off for some incredible sunset photos! After, Vi and Alex were announced in to loud cheers by their friends and family and then began a traditional Sri Lankan lamp ceremony with their immediate family on the dance floor.

Once dinner was done, DJ Zimmie kept the dance floor packed and guests were treated to dessert with S'mores from Nineteen27 S'moresdelicious cake from DreamCakesand cupcakes from Saint Cupcake. It truly was a fun celebration! Vi and Alex, it was so amazing being a part of your wedding day and getting to know you both during planning!

Kendall + Kyle

I had the absolute pleasure of working with the Westphal family twice this season!  Both sisters were married this summer and selected Bridal Bliss to help coordinate their special days. After getting to know the bride and groom quite well, I couldn’t wait to see Kendall and Kyle’s vision come to life.

The two opted for a traditional Catholic ceremony at The Madeleine Church in NE Portland. The church was filled with friends and family from both Oregon and Texas, Kyle’s home state.

After the ceremony concluded, everyone headed over to the west side of town, to The Portland Golf Club. Guests were greeted by the golf club staff with local beer and wine, before gathering on the patio, where John Ross of John Ross Music was serenading the crowd with an acoustic set.  They also had the opportunity to snap a polaroid for the custom guest book designed by the couple.

After making their way through the gorgeous dining room, filled with hand picked rentals from the Party Place, and lush floral arrangements from Good Seed Floral, guests were seated for a beautiful plated meal, prepared by the golf club. Watertown Films was able to catch the adorable first dance, the newlyweds shared before dinner.

We were treated to a pretty amazing line up toasts, seriously both sisters NAILED it at each others weddings, and then some delicious cake from Beaverton Bakery. Everyone also had the opportunity to snap a few silly photos in the photo booth provided by Snap Bar.  Then, it was time to party, and these Texans know how to party!!  Armed with music by The Coastline, everyone danced well into the night.  I’m just glad that Amanda K Photography was there to get the whole, fabulous day on film! Kendall and Kyle, I wish you nothing but a lifetime of love and laughter!! As for both Westphal women, PLEASE call me if you need coordination in the future, you guys really know how to throw a party!!

Megan + Andrew

I knew this was going to be one for the books when I first talked with Megan and her mom. I instantly feel in love with their personalities, style and wedding ideas. Throughout the process we bounced around various ideas, with a vision for clean whites and lush greenery (hello gorgeous!).

They chose Pronghorn for their September wedding and the entire day was absolutely perfection. Megan and Andrew said I do on Event Island at Pronghorn, which overlooks a picturesque scene.

After the heartfelt ceremony guests were invited into a reception tent that had been transformed by Heriloom Floral and West Coast. The tent was made to feel intimate by hanging floral chandeliers and a garland backdrop for the head table.  Guest tables were styled with perfection which included flowers and mixed metallic candles and wood table numbers from Hey Halle

As the sun began to set, guests danced the night away under the tent. Of course after the tent reception, there was an afterparty with pizza and more dancing. What more do you need? It was a perfect day and we were so happy to be apart of it!

Bridal Bliss is AMAZING! When attempting to write this review we did not think it was possible to put into words how spectacular Elizabeth and the Bridal Bliss team were throughout the entire planning process, as well as on the big day. Not only was Elizabeth there for our families every step of the way, she also problem solved before we ever knew an issue occurred, was extremely organized, provided amazing input and brought our vision to life to create what will always be one of the most memorable days of our lives. We cannot thank Elizabeth & Bridal Bliss enough for all you do - this wedding would not have been possible without you!!!

Charlotte + Kyle

Working with Charlotte and Kyle on their July 1st wedding was a dream. They selected Oregon Golf Club which provided the perfect starting point for planning an absolutely gorgeous wedding. Charlotte & Kyle both have impeccable taste and when it came time to pick vendors they hired the best to see their vision through. The ceremony was hosted in the rose gardens at Oregon Golf Club with all the roses perfectly in bloom. Everything was bright, vibrant and the 75 degree day made this garden ceremony dreamy.

After guests enjoyed cocktail hour (which included custom ice cubes) they were invited inside to a classic French garden party. Seventh Stem created lush floral arrangements that were packed full with blooming flowers and greenery. The colors were soft cool tones including, grey, steel blue, gold and white.  As the evening sunlight streamed inside - it created a perfect evening glow during dinner. After dinner guests filled the dance floor and danced the night away. To top off what was truly a perfect evening - Charlotte & Kyle ended the night with confetti cannons and a sparkler send-off. We absolutely loved this couple and couldn't be more excited for them!!

Elizabeth at Bridal Bliss was an absolute life saver and I’m so happy we decided to hire a coordinator. Wedding planning is overwhelming and exhausting, but Elizabeth’s expertise helped the entire process run smoothly. She answered every single text and email in a timely manner and even answered emails from family members. She is organized, creative, detail oriented and best of all, so nice! During one of our final meetings at the venue she had this massive binder full of contracts, checklists, and diagrams, and I just remember thinking “I’m so glad I’m not the keeper of that binder!” With Elizabeth doing most of the heavy lifting I could enjoy our engagement without being held captive by stress. On the day of our wedding I felt relaxed and got to spend the morning with my family and friends instead of trying to manage vendors and coordinate the setup. Elizabeth made my dream wedding possible and hiring the Bridal Bliss team was the best decision we made for our wedding day!

Megan + Peter

You can’t help but love a beautiful wedding inside the tent at The Oregon Golf Club! That was exactly the thought that Megan Westphal and Peter Stach had when planning their fabulous June wedding, earlier this year.  The girls arrived at the golf club, after getting hair and makeup perfectly styled by Powder Inc., at the Westphal’s home in the west hills.

The couple opted to not do a first look, so they stayed tucked away while Peter and his groomsmen took photos around the golf course with Amanda K Photography.  While photos were being taken, Good Seed Floral was busy inside the tent, adorning the hanging chandeliers with custom florals and greenery for the event, which perfectly complimented the beautiful rentals from The Party Place

To start the outdoor ceremony, John Ross Music’s,  Andrew Serino, was on hand to greet guests with live accoustic guitar. Post ceremony, guests enjoyed appetizers and drinks passed by The Oregon Golf Club on the patio. Once seated for dinner, everyone watched as the lively bridal party danced their way to their seats, before Megan and Peter shared their first dance.
