Garden Wedding

Laura + Sven

From the second I met Laura, I knew I wanted to be her wedding coordinator.

She was such fun to chat with and had a stunning vision of dusty rose and mauve with copper and marble accents that matched perfectly with their style.

As we planned, they booked a dream team of vendors that perfectly fit with the style and feel they wanted for their wedding day at Oregon Golf Club.

When the morning of their wedding day came, they both were just so excited to see each other and be married—their smiles were contagious throughout the day.

It was a perfect Oregon summer day as they took photos of their first look and with their bridal party.

Guests were greeted with champagne upon arrival before making their way into the garden for the ceremony.

It was such a sweet ceremony that even included their pup, Bear, as a the Ring Bear.

Guests then enjoyed the early evening outside for cocktail hour complete with signature cocktails, lawn games, and yummy bites.

Doors to the tent were opened when it was time for dinner, revealing a reception adorned with breathtaking floral arrangements and installations by Seventh Stem that filled the space.

After finding their table assignment on the watercolor map created by a close friend, they made their way to beautifully detailed tables.

Each table featured hexagon marble place cards with guest names calligraphed by Letter’s & Dust in copper atop a menu card with a custom wax seal and included copper flatware and blush water goblets- a perfect combination of details.

The night was filled with so many amazing moments for these two and I loved being a part of it!

After enjoying dinner, Laura + Sven stepped out for a moment together with sunset photos.

After fun and heartfelt toasts, guests enjoyed a dessert displayed filled with some of Laura + Sven’s favorite donuts and cupcakes.

Thank you for including me in your special day Laura + Sven- I am so very happy for you both and loved getting to know you both. Huge congrats you two!

Mallory + Serkan

When you have known the bride since she was a toddler, it makes planning a wedding that much more special. Going into 2018 I had a feeling Mallory and Serkan's wedding was going to be one of my favorites - not only were they planning on saying their I-Dos at the beautiful Bella Luna Farms in Snohomish, WA (with some amazing vendors I might add!), but it also would host guests from all over the country including some Mallory and I both had known for decades.

And just as I had anticipated July 14th was the perfect day for this special bride and groom.

They were married by a dear friend and surrounded by loved ones.

The sun shone down on these two as they stood beneath an arbor created by venue owner, Pamela Thompson.

Following the ceremony guests were encouraged to wander the property while nibbling on bites provided by Upper Left Catering and serenaded by Tyler Edwards and company.

As guests said goodbye to the iconic goats (always a hit during cocktail hour!) they were then seated under our pitched tent where they were served an amazing family style dinner.

As dinner came to an end, guests were entertained by several hilarious and heart-felt toasts.

We capped the night with cake provided by Cubes bakery, dancing (with music provided by the fabulous, Ben Meadow) under the star wrapped a-frame, and a late night snack of stone-fired pizza (another perk of this unique venue) before the couple was whisked away to the cozy hay loft for the night.

Thank you to our amazing photographers, Kim and  Adam of La Vie Photography for capturing this magical day.  And to Mallory and Serkan, it was truly an honor to be a part of this special time in your life, I look forward to celebrating with you both for years to come!

Julie + Shawn

Julie and Shawn were total couple goals! Their whole goal during the planning process was to have a fun party with all their sweet friends & family. I think we accomplished just that at The Oregon Gardens in Silverton, Oregon.

Their love for travel was incorporated into every detail. Crave Design helped collaborate on some super fun paper pieces to tie everything together. Guests were greeted in the garden with an adorable fan-program in vintage suitcases and awaited Julie and Shawn to say I do!

After the ceremony guests gathered over by the large barn for a fun cocktail hour where each received their “boarding pass” to dinner! I had the best time designing this escort card wall that fit in with their travel theme. Even the barcode were the numbers of their wedding date - so fun!

Dinner and dancing kicked off and guests moved & grooved underneath the ceiling of lights in the massive rustic barn. Julie and Shawn, I wish you all the best in your new marriage and cannot wait to see where life takes you on your next adventure!

Emily + Paul | Portland Wedding | Oregon Event Planning and Design | Aaron Courter Photography

When I met Emily and Paul I knew they were the perfect couple.  They stared at each other lovingly over coffee, seemed to know exactly what the other was thinking, and they were complete opposites, which if you know me, you know I love the saying “opposites attract!”  From the beginning Emily knew exactly what she wanted and one of those things was to make this day as fun for her as it was as comfortable for Paul.  Aaron Courter Photography did just that on the wedding day by allowing Emily’s bright and vivacious personality shine while also pairing well with Paul’s mellow and laidback grace.

The couple married at Leach Botanical Gardens under the arbor, which was graced in gorgeous purple floral and soft candlelit globes by Blum Floral.  Surrounded by their closest loved ones, the couple shared vows about having rad babies and always supporting one another.   Guests were then ushered to cocktail hour where Pearl Catering served yummy bites and delicious cocktails, before picking up their gem inspired table cards by Tie That Binds.

Guests enjoyed cozy fireplace seating while the couple shared a romantic sweetheart table with rentals from Classic Vintage.  The gorgeous floral arbor also made a fantastic backdrop for the dessert display extravaganza from Petunias Pies and Pastries and Emily’s favorite desserts made by Paul’s mom.  If the night wasn’t fun enough, Event Team Entertainment had guests dancing all night long and even allowed for a few serenading opportunities by the Bride and her bridesmaids.

Emily and Paul, I am so grateful you let me be a small part in your special day!  You are truly one of the coolest couples I know and I am so excited to watch you journey through life (and rad babies!) together.  Thank you for sharing so much happy with us.
