Elaina + George
Elaina and George’s wedding at Black Walnut felt like a true destination experience, set against a sweeping green that instantly transports you to the feeling of a Tuscan countryside weekend. The setting created the perfect backdrop for a celebration that was equal parts relaxed, romantic, and beautifully intentional from start to finish.
From the beginning, their vision was rooted in blending their backgrounds in a way that felt authentic to both of them. Elaina incorporated meaningful Korean elements to honor her heritage, while George brought in a more classic, East Coast and London-influenced perspective. The result was a seamless fusion that felt thoughtful, elevated, and entirely their own.
The design centered around a bold and playful love of Hermès orange, which became the signature pop of color throughout the day. Set against the natural greens of Black Walnut, the orange accents added warmth, energy, and a modern edge that made the overall aesthetic feel fresh and refined.
As guests gathered in the courtyard for dinner, soft string lighting overhead created the most romantic glow, transforming the space into an intimate al fresco experience. The entire weekend was a stunning celebration of love, culture, and design, and a beautiful reminder of how special Black Walnut is as a wedding setting.
