Bridal Fashion Week Trends 2015

I just returned back to town after a whirlwind trip to NYC for Bridal Fashion Week with my mom, owner of ANNA’S BRIDAL BOUTIQUE.  Our BRIDAL BLISS office just conveniently happens to be located inside of the bridal shop and my mom and I are super close, so trips like this are a blast!  The goals of the trip are to purchase new gowns for the shop, stay up on trends, network with wedding professionals, and have fun!

Designer HAYLEY PAIGE with her own designs showcasing some of the season’s biggest trends: sequins, crop tops and very fitted derrieres!

Stay tuned for a recap of the fun over-the-top industry parties  we attended…until then, here are some trends you can look forward to!  I apologize in advance, these were all taken quickly by my phone so the quality/photographer isn’t the best!

Easily the biggest new look we saw was a silhouette very eloquently described by designers as “tight butt, low back.”  When I say low back, I mean LOW back.  How gorgeous are these?  Every single designer we visited had a few of these looks in their collection!

My favorite emerging trend?  ROMPERS!!  WATTERS nailed it with these two.

Another beautiful look we saw over and over were lace sleeves.  I’m guessing Kate Middleton had something to do with this!

WATTERS, MARISAWATTERS

I was surprised to see short dresses fading out, but a great replacement is a high/low skirt.  This gown by MODERN TROUSSEAU was to die for.

Lastly, two emerging trends many designers showcased were studded accents and illusion necklines.  I have to be honest, I don’t love the harsh juxtaposition of studs on a delicate gown, but some of the illusion necklines are quite beautiful.

Interested in any of these gowns or trends?  Definitely head into ANNA’S BRIDAL to try some on!  Check back soon for more Bridal Market pics!
