Catherine's Bridesmaid Boxes
After helping brides brainstorm ideas for their "bridesmaid proposals," I knew when I had the chance, I had to make it extra special! And USEFUL! It took me a couple of months to decide what I wanted the box to look like and contain and I think it turned out super cute!
The Box - I wanted something other than a standard gift box so I searched and searched for affordable wood boxes. Word to the wise, these won't last forever! They are a little flimsy!
The Wax Steal - I've been obsessed with Artisaire wax colors forever and knew I wanted to incorporate them in my wedding details somehow. Paige from Hey Halle helped me design the stamp itself (which now we can use for all wedding related things!) and I bought a few samples to decide which Artisaire wax color I went with!
The Jewelry Box - I've always wanted something like this to store some of my favorite jewelry in but it can be used for anything they like! Their names in cursive was the perfect personalized touch! Hey Halle again came to the rescue and wrote the names for me!
The Hanky Pankys - A little bit of an inside joke but my mama worked at a cute boutique for years that carried hanky pankys. For any gift, I would always give people hanky pankys so it seemed fitting to include them here! Plus you can never have too many hanky pankys.
The Candle - I am candle obsessed so this was no question. My bestie Danielle has a candle company, Floradee Candle Co, and she created a custom scent for me that I LOVE. (vanilla, fir and eucalyptus!) I designed the label to have details about the wedding weekend and Crave Design printed them.
Glossier Balm Dotcom - Glossier is one of my favorite skin/beauty brands and wanted something a little girly so this was an easy add and the colors worked perfectly!
The Matches - If you haven't checked out For You Party, you must! They create anything and everything and these little matches were such a fun touch. I needed a pop of color and this worked out perfectly.
Lastly I added a little dried floral bouquet from Brier + Ivy! When it was time to gift these boxes I put together a little beach picnic in my hometown for some of the girls I was asking. I figured why not already make something a little over the top, more over the top?! LOL.
