BOMA Centennial Celebration

We love weddings (duh), but we also love when we get to work with amazing companies planning corporate events! This past September I had the pleasure of working with BOMA (Building Owners and Managers Association) on their Centennial Party. By the first meeting I knew this was going to be a an amazing event. We picked a playful Monopoly theme that was fun to execute throughout the event at Directors Park.  We featured a large Monopoly poster behind the bar displaying various sponsors and partnerships as the properties. Of course, we could not forget about a jail. Chad Dowling provided a custom photo booth jail and Monopoly theme props for guests. It was a fun night and also for a great cause as the event benefited Central City Concern

Devil's Food catered the event and designed a menu perfect for the theme. Food stations were placed throughout the park and included themes including "Old Town - Chinatown" with  Korean-style beef skewers, tamarind-glazed chicken meatballs and a yakisoba noodle salad.  Also, "Broadway" with grilled min-Reuben sandwiches with a shot of pilsner and truffled French fries and "Park Avenue" with shrimp cocktail and oysters on-the-half-shell with a foie gras torchon.
