Rachael + Andy
From the moment I met with Rachael and Andy, I knew their day was going to be magical! They had a rockstar team of vendors booked with fun twists (hello pizza for dinner and a donut wall for dessert!) With rustic decor, greenery, and blush tones accenting the already gorgeous space in Union/Pine, Rachael and Andy’s fall wedding was sure to be beautiful. The planning process with them was a breeze, and before we knew it the big day was here!
Starting the day with pampering from Swept Away PDX and Kiss & Makeup Artistry, the bride and her crew got ready for pictures with Bethany Small while the groom’s crew got dressed and headed to Union/Pine for first look pictures. Meanwhile, For the Love of Floral was busy at creating a greenery-filled space for the ceremony and reception while we set up special details for the reception, including pictures of the couple throughout the years adorned with votives and a handmade donut wall made by the bride’s father!
Once the final details were placed and guests arrived, the ceremony began! Rachael and Andy made sure to include every member of their family, including their pup Winston, into their day, which made the ceremony moments even more special! After sharing a unity sand ceremony, the party could begin. Tastebud passed delicious appetizers while the main event, wood-fired pizza, was being made for dinner!
Guests enjoyed a wide selection of pizzas and champagne while Rachael and Andy’s nearest and dearest gave toasts for the happy couple. The amazing food didn’t stop there! Guests helped themselves to not only donuts while Rachael and Andy cut a cake made by a family friend, but also fresh coffee from Pacific Perks. The caffeine boost and sugar helped fuel the party put on by Melvin’s DJ Service! Friends and family had a blast celebrating the newlyweds in the best way, an awesome dance party.
