Maddie + Henry

Maddie and Henry were a lesson in resilience. What started as a celebration with 300 of their friends and family, turned into the perfect 35 person elopement with just the people who mattered most. After months of planning and ever-changing restrictions, Maddie and Henry were married in an intimate ceremony at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, followed by a beautiful dinner at Waverly Country Club.

With the smaller guest count, we were able to focus on the smaller details of the wedding day and make each guest feel comfortable and safe. Upon arrival at the ceremony, family and friends were given custom face masks with the couple's initials and wedding date.

Once at the reception, each place setting had a mini bottle of hand sanitizer and an individual appetizer platter. Letters + Dust created beautifully drawn signage to encourage guests to "spread love, not germs."

The bride and groom shared a first dance on the lawn under beautifully strung lights with cascading greenery and lanterns flicking in the trees. As the sun set, the couple went down to the river to take sunset photos with Deyla Huss, while guests enjoyed the custom photo booth from HappyMatic and dessert by Dream Cakes.

Maddie and Henry plan to continue their wedding celebrations with a larger one-year anniversary party back at Waverly Country Club in 2021. They were such a pleasure to work with in 2020, and I can't wait to see what the next party has in store!

XOXO, Mollie
