Madeline + Mark

At my first planning meeting with Madeline and her mother Kimberly, I could immediately envision the classic blue wedding they were describing with Waverley as the perfect backdrop for the day. Madeline has such an elegant, sophisticated spirit to her and I could tell that we wanted to carry that same theme into her wedding day. Oddly enough, the day of our first meeting I chose to wear a face mask with a blue floral pattern which was the perfect representation of the color and style of the day. It was a match made in heaven for us to work together and I was so excited to get started in planning and see it all come together!

Madeline and Mark chose not to do a first look prior to their ceremony, but Madeline did decide to have a special moment with her dad before making their way to the venue. As she finished up the final getting ready details, she surprised her dad with a first look of their own. The photos truly say it all — a beautiful and heartwarming moment for father and daughter! Once everyone arrived on site, our vendor dream team all made sure we could hide the bride and groom from each other until it was Madeline’s turn to finally walk down the aisle. She was such a vision in her off-the-shoulder gown and statement veil and Makenzie Rogers captured her graceful beauty so perfectly!

After a sweet ceremony delivered by Mark’s brother, guests made their way to cocktail hour for sips and snacks while Makenzie snuck away for some stunning sunset shots of the couple by the river. As dinner began, guests were treated to a delicious plated meal as family and friends gave heartwarming toasts and celebrations for the newlyweds.

I remember during a one of our planning meetings I asked Madeline about her preferences on cake when a huge smile came across her face. She let me know they were opting for a delicious three tier cookie-cake from Laurie Clarke Cakes, so I was thrilled to see if come to life on wedding day with the additions of a few floral pops from Blum.

The night ended with a packed dance floor, courtesy of Chad Dowling spinning some great beats, and a late night treat of sliders and fries. Madeline and Mark made their grand exit surrounded by family, friends, and sparkling bubbles to start their new future together! It was such an honor to take part in this amazing day for such a sweet couple. Madeline and Mark, thank you for allowing me to help you celebrate such an important life moment and I wish you all the best in married life together!

XOXO, Ari
