Laura + Robbie

From the moment we saw Laura and Robbie sipping coffee together at Macrina Bakery, we knew their wedding was going to be full of joy and pure admiration for one another. After five months of planning and hand folding one thousand origami cranes, that is exactly what we witnessed on the day Laura and Robbie became one!

Laura and Robbie chose the Fremont Foundry as their wedding venue. Festivities began on Thursday with the rehearsal dinner at Brave Horse Tavern in Seattle. To follow up with a day of entertainment and relaxation, the men played a round of golf on Friday morning, while the ladies received pedicures and enjoyed lunch with one another. It was a wonderful day for everyone that allowed both parties to get ready for the amazing wedding day that was to come!

With a great love for Seattle, the couple chose to celebrate their ceremony (complete with a traditional Japanese Sake Ceremony) and cocktail hour on the rooftop of the Fremont Foundry with a full view of the Seattle skyline. Thanks to the beautiful weather, the couple and guests were blessed with a sky of pink and orange prior to the reception, which was held on the main floor of the venue.

The main floor of the Fremont Foundry was decorated with paper cranes that hung from glittering branches, magenta up lights, and a disco ball that shined throughout. Guests enjoyed dinner with an open garage door that allowed for an authentic Seattle experience. After dinner, the toasts and celebrations of the party took place in the center of the dance floor, which was soon packed with partying guests until the night end. With a surprise arrival of Dick's Hamburgers and a sparkler exit for Laura and Robbie, the wedding was surely one for the books!
