Lauren + Will
Lauren and Will's love story started 15 years ago in high school, and it truly doesn't get sweeter than that. It was such an honor to put together their dream wedding day!
The day started off with the two getting ready together- they skipped a traditional bridal party and kept things simple with just the two of them.
Adventure Story Films captured all the special moments, from Lauren and Will's final getting ready moments, to their portraits at Ballard Botanical Gardens, to their abundance of family photos upon their return to the venue.
Our ceremony space was magical; Anthera Floral transported us to an Italian garden with greenery covering the perimeter of the room and lush florals lining the aisles and altar. Our sweet flower boy, Will's nephew Knox, skipped down the aisle and excitedly threw white petals in the air- perfectly scattering them across the way before Lauren walked down to Yoke Lore's Beige.
Lauren and Will had 15 years of ground to cover in their vows, and there wasn't a dry eye in the house. Officiant Rick, Lauren't brother-in-law, ended our sweet ceremony by asking the entire room to promise to support our couple moving forward in this new chapter.
Soon enough, we were off to cocktail hour! All this Italian garden party was missing was a massive charcuterie board, and it did not disappoint. Accompanied by a tray pass of lasagna cakes and smoked salmon dip, our guests were pleased well before they joined us back on the rooftop for a delicious family style meal. Gelatiamo's Millefoglie was yet another showstopper; massive, fluffy slices were quickly devoured!
From emo hour to the hits of 2010s, DJ D-Look kept our party going well into the evening, and Lauren and Will had the time of their lives with their friends and family on the dance floor. The extra basket of flip-flops was absolutely necessary!
Lauren and Will, it was such a joy to celebrate with you. I can't wait to see where your future takes you. Wishing you all the best and all the love.
