Michelle + Ken
If KATY were to describe Michelle & Ken‘s lodge wedding in one phrase, it would be “Details! Details! Details!” Not only were the couple so fun to work with but they had some great ideas bringing in their own personal touches into the wedding day, which was also featured on Mod Wedding! Held at SUMMIT GROVE LODGE, a hidden gem in Ridgefield, WA, the outdoor ceremony had a forest-like feel with an indoor log cabin-like setting. BELLA BLOOM FLORALS adorned the archway and aisle with gorgeous green garlands with pops of white florals. Ken‘s love for hunting was brought in with each groomsmen given camo print socks along with a boutonnière made with bullet casings. Michelle’s dad, Dave, has always dreamt about having a photo of himself with the “guys” featured in his favorite magazine, “Cigar Aficionado,” so Michelle and her mom, Kim, decided to surprise him with the perfect lounge area named “Dave’s Cigar & Whiskey Bar” where Michelle and her dad had their “Father-Daughter first look.” Signature cocktails named after the couple “Pied Piper” and “Mingo Madness” were served during cocktail hour and throughout the evening. Inside featured elaborate cafe and uplighting provided by GREENLIGHT CREATIVE with tables adorned with luscious green centerpieces, lanterns with moss and gold beaded chargers. Each guest was given a favor of 3 macarons by Crazy 4 Macarons. A table topped with a bed of moss with gold manzanita trees and a variety of cakes and desserts was provided by BRIDAL BLISS.
