Enzo's 3rd Birthday
Planning weddings is truly a one of a kind job, but one of the most special parts is seeing our clients return to plan special life events for their families. When Nora as me if I wanted to team up and plan a birthday party for the son of one of her past brides, Christelle, I couldn’t pass up the opportunity! Only a few months back, Mackenzie had designed the most adorable birthday for Christelle’s youngest son, Armand, so I had quite the planning team to live up to, but I was up for the challenge!
Christelle told us that Enzo wanted a Monster Truck themed party, so we immediately had a few ideas in mind: checkered flags, orange cones, tire tracks, and tons of brightly colored balloons. No kids’ party is complete without a bounce house and a face painter, but we knew to make this party truly something that would wow everyone, we needed to go BIG! And that’s when it hit us…why not bring in an actual Monster Truck?! After some creative research and logistical tinkering, we found the perfect addition for the day: Zombie Tracker! Placed right at the entrance to the house, this set the stage for an epic afternoon of celebrations.
Even in the toasty August sunshine, the kiddos had a blast with each activity and worked up quite the appetite for lunch. Artemis Catering provided the most perfectly elegant kid’s food plates and a delicious buffet of upscale comfort food for the adults. The only thing left to do was see Enzo make a wish on his candles so we headed down to the dessert table stacked with goodies from Dream Cakes. After friends and family sung happy birthday, the kids dug right into the sweet treats for a final sugar rush to end the afternoon.
We had a MONSTER of a good time celebrating Enzo’s big day and I was so grateful to have taken part in making it so special. I can’t wait for the next big event with this amazing family and seeing how we out-do ourselves next!
