Alexis + Justin

Lexi and Justin’s wedding day was a celebration of epic proportions. They endured 2.5 years of long distance, a pandemic, and having to postpone their big day a whole year due to a tragic accident that left Lexi's dad in serious condition. While Lexi and Justin planned their wedding across the country from each other, Lexi’s dad (with the support of his family) was working on his recovery, and it made the new wedding date an event that all their loved ones were looking forward to.

From the breathtaking scenery at her grandparent’s estate, to personal touches at every turn, (and the most vivacious wedding party I’ve experienced yet), their wedding day was one for the books. After the couple said their vows, and guests took in the views, Mac’s Custom Catering provided a delicious spread of tri-tip, chicken piccata, roasted vegetables, and potatoes.

After the epic wedding party introductions, and the couple’s first dance, the father of the bride surprised Lexi with a recording of him singing their song (not a dry eye in the house!), before the two wowed their friends and family with some choreography they planned, that showed everyone just how much he overcame to be ready for this beautiful day. Rising Phoenix Productions provided music that kept the dance party going until late into the night, and no one wanted the night to end.

Lexi and Justin, it was an honor to be a part of your wedding day, and this amazing family celebration. The way you all showed up for each other, and supported (and surprised) each other through this process was so special to witness. Congratulations and best wishes for your future together!

XOXO, Candida
