Caitlin + Joe

Caitlin and Joe’s wedding day was an absolute dream! We had such a fun time planning with the bride and her sweet mom Libby. And as an interior designer herself, Caitlin had the absolute best style and the most gorgeous vision for her and Joe’s big day. (Take one look at her amazing wedding dress and you’ll see what we mean!)

Both the guys and ladies had fun getting ready on-site that morning. Joe was the sweetest, asking throughout the day how his bride was doing and if she needed anything. Finally, they were able to unite for their first look after over 6 years together, and it was everything!!

You never know what type of fall weather October will bring, but the Oregon Golf Club was a picture-perfect setting. A clear tent went up in the rose garden, completely transformed with creamy florals and greenery by Brier and Ivy, to cover guests in case of sprinkling rain. I just loved the champagne table guests were welcomed by, with a show-stopping urn in the middle and specialty blue floral linens, like it was copied and pasted straight off of Pinterest.

Caitlin had her heart set on getting married in front of OGC’s beautiful arch. We were ready with umbrellas for the wedding party if needed, but right on cue, it stopped raining just as the ceremony was about to begin and stayed away until guests went inside for dinner - a wedding day miracle! Melissa Coe delivered a heartfelt ceremony, recounting the biggest moments in their relationship thus far before the bride and groom ushered in loving promises for their future together. If only umbrellas were good for happy tears!

Inside, the pavilion was set for the most elegant evening! Brier and Ivy pulled out ALL the stops with airy white florals and candles for the tables, gorgeous greenery chandeliers, and even more vines for the head table’s backdrop and to highlight the clean white bar. Floral napkins brought out the blue of the specialty drinking glasses, and the wooden cross-back chairs really tied the whole space together. A grand custom mirror for the seating chart and beautiful menus from The Scribblist were the biggest cherries on top!

My other favorite detail of the night? Caitlin and Joe had handwritten every single guest a sweet thank you note as a surprise on their place setting! After a full wedding party grand entrance to “Crazy in Love”, guests feasted on their choice of pan-roasted salmon, braised short rib, or wild mushroom risotto. And that wasn’t all— the dessert table from Lux Sucre was a huge hit, as well as the late-night street tacos and pizza bites!

It was clear that Caitlin and Joe had such a supportive and loving community, made even more evident during the toasts from their parents and best friends—and when everyone immediately hit the dance floor! Event Team Entertainment kept the dancing going all night long until it was time for the couple to be sent off into married life with a grand sparkler exit.

Caitlin and Joe, it was an honor to celebrate you both and bring your magical day to life. Wishing you a lifetime of happiness together! Enjoy every moment!

XOXO, Mackenzie + Emily
