Traci + Kendall

As our couples continue to be impacted by Covid, I have now learned to talk with them about their priorities early on in the planning process. Is it about that specific date, getting married regardless of who can be there with you, is it about the celebration? There is really no wrong answer. For Kendall and Traci however, I knew what they would say before I asked - they wanted to be married to each other. Hands down one of the most thoughtful couples I have ever worked with, they were ready to 'officially' share their lives with each other and knew the larger celebration could come later.

Once we determined their originally planned swanky Seattle wedding could not happen as envisioned we pivoted quickly. Traci's parents were kind enough to offer their beautiful backyard, and there was not a shortage of helpers - family members helped string lights, move furniture, and run all the wedding errands needed to make the day as perfect as possible. We stuck with the colors originally planned - black, white, and gold, but softened the overall feel making it feel more garden party-esque.

The look was brought to life by the beautiful blooms from Fleurish and hundreds of gold cranes the couple hand hand folded which were hung overhead. Traci and Kendall exchanged their vows with family and just a few friends before gathering for toasts, cake cutting, and then sitting down to an Italian family dinner. This very special night was captured by the ever so talented Tim of Sullivan & Sullivan.

We can't wait to see the magic that happens in October when Traci and Kendall's families and friends gather to celebrate these two amazing people!

XOXO, Molly
