Madeleine + Michael
When I met Madeleine and Michael, I immediately knew I wanted to participate in making their dream a reality. They were most excited to host an adult summer camp, complete with games, bonfires, hiking and conversations under the stars. And let me tell you, we did just that!
IslandWood was the perfect backdrop for their adult summer camp! Guests were welcomed onsite Friday evening with drinks and bunk assignments. The couple's wedding party doubled as their camp counselors, complete with custom shirts for Camp M&M! The night continued with a welcome dinner and songs around the campfire.
On wedding day, guests participated in early morning hikes, as Madeleine and her bridesmaids had a cozy morning together getting hair and makeup done by Carissa Blossom Artistry.
As the ceremony began, Madeleine and Michael processed in along an aisle lush with blooms from Anthera Floral, taking their vows amidst a beautiful canopy of trees in the meadows at IslandWood.
The night continued with a decadent menu from IslandWood and heartfelt toasts from family and friends. Madeleine and Michael shared their first dance, choreographed by Madeleine herself, to Lover by Taylor Swift. And wow, it was incredible! Cameron Zegers and Peter Kim perfectly captured the joy shared throughout the evening.
The night ended with an elaborate ice cream sundae bar, late night snacks, and a giant inflatable ring toss from Michael! The three day summer camp concluded with Sunday brunch and heartfelt goodbyes to the lovely couple.
