Talk about a wedding week! Kristin + Leslie decided to take their wedding celebration to the desert and I will forever remember this one! It was a favorite for sure! They opted for a Wednesday wedding so their guests could enjoy a full week vacay. It happened to fall right on my birthday and I actually couldn't think of anything better than spending the day in the sun, making someone's wedding dreams come true!
Kristin + Leslie have spent a ton of time at Sparrows Lodge and wanted to share it all with their closest family and friends. After spending a few days there, I got it completely. It is an intimate, private luxurious retreat and I would highly recommend anyone looking for a small wedding venue or weekend getaway!
Monday we kicked things off with a casual pool party as guests arrived and Tuesday evening with a fun evening out at Truss & Twine, a swanky bar in downtown Palm Springs. Wednesday was the wedding day and guests lounged while the bride & her close friends got ready in the nearby suite.
Kristin is an interior designer so she had the design nailed from the very beginning. She wanted lush with desert vibes and let me tell you, she accomplished just that! She didn't miss a beat with welcome bags, late night snacks for each room (every night!), and a photo board for guests to take a picture with their RSVP.
After a sweet ceremony and fun cocktail hour, they all sat at one long table and toasted this incredible bride + groom! There is something so sweet about a 45 person wedding and all your favorite people at one table.
They danced the night away and people slowly got out of their wedding get ups, got their swimsuits on and turned the night into a pool party with donut late night bites. So fun!
It truly was a night to remember and I feel so lucky I got to be included in the week long celebration! Congratulations Kristin + Leslie, I wish you both a lifetime of happiness!!
