Lena + Max

Although Max and Lena grew up only five streets apart, it wasn't until they graduated from different colleges when their mutual friends brought them together! Their love story is especially sweet, and I loved working with them to bring their dream day to life.

Max and Lena's wedding at the Olympic Sculpture Park was a picturesque day- beautiful bold colors contrasting the changing leaves of the season and Elliot Bay. It was an atmosphere full of love, color, and elegance as friends and family from all over the world gathered in the amphitheater.

Officiant James, the friend who we can all thank for the connection of this beautiful couple, announced our newlyweds and we were off to cocktail hour to Real Love Baby by Father John Misty. Guests were greeted with Max and Lena's favorite cocktails, Jungle Birds and Margaritas, along with an assortment of tray passed appetizers.

The seating chart by Papier & Design accompanied by fun florals by Goldenrod directed guests to dinner, where more personal touches in details awaited them. While Max and Lena's pups Lucy and Daisy couldn't join us on the big day, they were still there in spirit at each table. Our floral design tied together with our tablescape elegantly, with the pinks and marigolds complementing the blue touches scattered throughout.

The rest of the evening was filled with magic. Heartfelt toasts from moms, brothers, and best friends along with a first dance that left everyone wanting more. Lady Grey's cake was the perfect addition; layers of pistachio sponge with cream cheese frosting and blackberry curd... what more could anyone want?

Max and Lena, I feel like I have gained some lifelong friends! I can't wait to see what your future brings and I am so grateful to have been a part of a chapter. Wishing you all the best and all the love.
