There’s something timeless about weddings at Black Butte Ranch—the mountain views, the rustic charm, and the easygoing elegance that simply can’t be replicated anywhere else. Alyssa and Seth’s big day was no exception. Surrounded by sweeping landscapes and their closest people, their wedding was a sweet, joyful celebration that felt effortlessly beautiful.
The couple kept things simple but intentional when it came to décor. Florals in soft pinks, warm oranges, and calming sage green brought fresh color to the day without overwhelming the natural backdrop. High Desert Florals added a special touch by incorporating pine cones—an earthy nod to the Central Oregon landscape and a subtle way to weave local charm into the evening.
Guests were in for a treat during cocktail hour with a surprise appearance from Walter the Bend Burro! Walter delivered drinks with undeniable charm and became an instant favorite for photo ops. As a nod to their four-legged VIP, Alyssa and Seth chose Moscow Mules and strawberry zero-proof Mules as their signature cocktails.
Dinner featured a bountiful buffet of Northwest-inspired cuisine, including grilled steak, roasted chicken, and perfectly cooked salmon. It was a menu that balanced comfort with elegance and ensured everyone left the table happy. Their wedding cake featured champagne cake and a lemon poppyseed berry cake.
Bend Event Sound kept the dance floor lively all night with seamless DJ services and a perfect mix of crowd-pleasers and throwbacks. Just when guests thought the party couldn’t get any better, light-up wands were passed out—and then came Sandstorm by Darude. The energy soared. With the wands waving and beats pumping, the moment became an unforgettable highlight of the night.
This wedding was the perfect example of how simplicity, thoughtful planning, and a little flexibility can create something truly special. Alyssa and Seth didn’t need anything over-the-top to make the day memorable. From meaningful design choices to relaxed moments with guests, their wedding was full of warmth, joy, and love—which is exactly what a wedding should be.
