Kelli + Anthony

I was in the midst of planning her sister Kayla's wedding when Kelli became engaged.  Given that both of their weddings were to take place in the same calendar year, I wasn't sure what to expect.  Would she want something completely the opposite or the same?  Would there be awkward sibling rivalry? When I met with Kelli and Anthony, I learned very quickly that although both sisters had many similarities, they wanted completely different weddings and have an amazing relationship.  Kelli and Anthony had been high school sweethearts and after eight years and both in grad school, Anthony popped the question.  I remember Anthony telling me about how he asked Kelli to prom with a recorded rap that he wrote and produced himself and I knew immediately, we had to incorporate this somehow into the wedding day- I mean, how cute is that?!

They chose the Oregon Golf Club for their August wedding and the day was absolutely gorgeous.  Guests were seated out in the rose garden where Kelli and Anthony said their vows- performed by Kelli's brother-in-law Jonny, leaving no dry eye in the garden? Kelli had two dresses, one for the ceremony and the other for the reception and Anthony wore a  navy suit  hands down my most favorite look of the year.  Portland Bride + Groom Magazine agreed and published this dapper gentleman in their Groom's Guide!

After the ceremony, guests made their way to cocktail hour and into the reception inside the tent.  A white, cream and blush floral filled chandelier hung above the dance floor, and framed the head table and which was also covered in a blush sequin linen and glass beaded gold chargers.  We used gold framed mirrors for signage for the program, seating assignments and menu.  Champagne linens with beautiful blush and ivory centerpieces by Zest Floral mixed with mercury votive candles for each of the guest tables which were also sprinkled with rose petals kept the tone of the magical evening.  After Kelli's father, Mark, had given his speech, her mother, Angela took to the mic to share the story of the way Anthony had asked Kelli to prom- then surprised everyone with playing the rap for us all to hear. At the end of the night, Kelli & Anthony had a sparkler send off and left to their hotel in a white 1956 Bentley S1.  An amazing night!

All I can say is I absolutely love the Crandall girls, Kelli & Kayla, their (now) husbands and their families. It was an absolute honor working with all of them.  Thank you for letting me be such a big part of your days!
