Cassie + Thad

Upon meeting Cassie and Thad, I knew they had their priorities straight when it came to their wedding. They wanted a beautiful setting- how much more beautiful can you get so close to Portland, than Lewis & Clark, and for their closest family and friends to have a great time.

Cassie wanted color, corals, pinks and mauves- and if you know me, you know I am ALL ABOUT COLOR! We had a great time picking out everything from tables and chairs, to place settings all the way down to the menu, The ceremony took place at the Manor House, overlooking Mt. Hood on the beautiful July day.

For cocktail hour, guests made their way to the reflection pond for cocktails and hors devours. Upon taking their seats for dinner, each table had their own charcuterie board to share too. Instead of a tent, we opted for a shade structure to give guests a break from the sun, all while leaving the view for guests to enjoy. A combination of oatmeal colored linen round tables and white wood farm tables set the tone for their family style dinner and of course, who better to do it, than the fabulous Art of Catering.

Colorful florals down the center of each table keeping enough space for the platters. After dinner, Fifty Licks Ice Cream truck drove up to the cobblestone circle and served ice cream for guests, while others danced the night away with music by the amazing band, Dance Hall Days. It was the most incredible day for two incredible people.

XOXO, Katy

Literally saved me from becoming a bridezilla! Thank you so much Katy!
