Maysara Winery Wedding | Liz + Jason
I spent about a year and a half working with Liz + Jason planning their epic wine country destination Maysara Winery wedding in McMinnville. These two are as low-maintenance as they come, and gave me quite a bit of creative freedom which was so fun! As if the bridesmaids brunch at Stoller and rehearsal dinner turned welcome party at The Bindery weren't enough, we treated guests to one heck of a party Saturday night!
After a morning yoga session by Wedwell for all guests, the wedding party got ready at Atticus Hotel--my new favorite hotel in wine country. Setup was underway with Blum working on installations, Party Place delivering some brand new rentals ordered especially for the event (can we talk about those grey chargers?!?), Classic Vintage Rentals setting up our cigar bar and Hollywood Lights adding some dramatic pin-spotting and up-lighting.
Guests were shuttled over to the event and greeted with a light breeze on the perfect sunny day and beverages as they found their seat. Liz and her dad, Chuck, floated down the aisle with Duo Con Brio creating a magical ambiance. After the couple said their I Do's under the floral filled arbor, guests cheered them off tossing petals found conveniently in their program!
Next up….cocktail hour! Signature cocktails, custom ice cubes and delicious apps passed by none other than Art of Catering had guests in a festive spirit. All the while, the talented Sam Day was painting a stunning piece of art.
Guests were welcomed into Maysara's stunning indoor space with Precious Byrd setting the festive tone, a custom made escort display by Blum and Letters + Dust, massive ceiling installations and drool worthy tablescapes. The space was dripping in floral and the white, green, gold and grey color palette was perfection. Each place setting was adorned by an acrylic calligraphied place card, double thick letterpress menus with gold edging by Crave and taper candles that created a magical vibe.
After a delicious plated meal, there were tears and laughs during toasts, Dream Cakes' masterpiece was cut, and then the band kicked off the dance party! Besides cutting a rug, guests enjoyed a lounge complete with a cigar roller from Broadway Cigars and pashminas, Ice Cream from Salt + Straw (the couple's favorite indulgence when they come to town), a cheese and fruit display, phone charging station, Vanity Portrait Studio and enough sweets and late night treats to make your head spin.
Back at the hotel, we ended the night with a hangover kit and custom do not disturb sign! It really was such a fun weekend with the most gracious guests and loving, thoughtful family. Congrats Liz + Jason and thanks so much for including us!
