Winery Wedding

Leah + Adam

When I first met Leah and Adam, I knew their wedding was going to be special.  Not only were these two clearly so in love (the best!) they also had a wonderful approach to planning their big day.  They wanted it to have some unique touches and cared about the finished product, but they also didn't take anything too seriously and had fun along the way.

We picked Chateau for their late September wedding, and I could not have imagined a more perfect setting.

As guests arrived at the Chateau they were welcomed to the upper lawn for beautiful ceremony officiated by Annemarie Juhlian.  A very enthusiastic groom, tears from the best man and the most excited family members all set the tone for the night ahead.

Following the ceremony guests moved around the pond where they were greeted with trays of cocktails, passed appetizers and my favorite part - a custom cheeseboard created by the Herban Feast team, before they headed into the tent for dinner.

An already magical tent was made even more beautiful by the talented Amy Ly of Gather Design Company (flowers) and Camille Robinson of Robinson Paperie (paper goods) who hand painted their menus! Dinner was served family style and accompanied by paired wines.

The night was capped off with toasts, dessert - an amazing cake (the Sweetside) plus homemade desserts from each of their moms, dancing (if you haven't spent time with DJ Ben Meadow you are missing out!) and time in the photo booth!

There were so many fun touches from start to finish - including scratch tickets for each guest, light up flower crowns and a balloon farewell - all captured by Stephen and Amanda Lloyd, as well as Green Attic Films (all three were amazing!).

I feel so lucky to have been a part of this special day, thank you Leah and Adam!

Bridal Bliss did a great job pairing me with Molly because she totally understood my taste which made her SO helpful with vendors recommendations and giving advice on invitation designs, color pallets, floral arrangements, etc.! She went above and beyond to make our wedding day perfect! There are so many moving parts when planning a wedding, and Molly always manages to remain calm and makes you feel confident that everything will be perfect.

Laura + Jacob

I knew planning would be a breeze with Laura & Jacob after our first meeting together. They are the kindest couple with a great eye for design. Laura's vision translated beautifully to their venue, Maysara Winery.

We created a romantic and elegant garden feel. The ceremony was held on Maysara's patio overlooking a stunning view. Laura truly looked angelic in her gorgeous dress.

Guests then enjoyed drinks and yard games before entering the reception.

Whimsical florals in tones of white and blush covered the tables. Tons of votive candles touches of gold added just the perfect compliment.

Following dinner guests danced the night away and roasted s'mores by the fire pit.

My favorite touch was the photo bus, it was unique and kept everyone smiling all night! Congrats Laura & Jacob, it was a pleasure being a part of your day!

We worked with Carrie as our day of coordinator for our wedding in June 2018 at Maysara Winery, and she was absolutely delightful! She was organized, thoughtful, and even thought of important questions for wedding planning that I hadn’t considered. On the day of the wedding we completely trusted her to set up our decor exactly how we wanted - and it was perfect! We can’t thank her enough!

Cara + Micah

Cara & Micah's wedding was breathtaking on a typical PNW September day - we had sun & warmth, clouds AND rain.

They spent the morning getting ready together with their adorable pup before taking photos at at the venue.

After photos, it was time for the ceremony. The weather held and they were married outside on the venue’s Bocce Ball Court.

With the indoor and outdoor options JM Cellars provides, we were able to make a last-minute decision to move the reception inside, which turned out to be just as beautiful.

Guests were treated to a lovely buffet meal by Herban Feast, had the opportunity to visit the caricaturist for a fun drawing of themselves, all while mingling and cheers-ing to the couples favorite songs.

When it was time for dessert, guests were treated to a cronut bar. And if you’ve never had one before, I can tell you they are delicious!

It was a gorgeous September evening at JM Cellars!

Savitha + Ted

I first met Savitha a few months before her big day.  She was one of the most calm and relaxed brides I have ever me.  She wanted to keep the entire weekend of celebration stress free and uncomplicated for both herself, her finance Ted, and their families.

JM Cellars was the perfect venue for the style of wedding they were looking for, laid-back elegance.  Savitha chose simple details to enhance the beauty of the space, selecting locally grown flowers and romantic color palette.

Stadium Flowers added gorgeous flowers to the arbor where Savitha and Ted said their I-Dos.  My favorite moment (as it frequently is) was watching as  the ceremony came to close, joining not only the couple in this case, but also their families, with five kids between them - such a special moment for them all.

Following the ceremony guests were welcomed to the rock garden for wine and bites provided by Herban Feast before moving into the Wine Library for dinner.

Guests dined, and listened to heartfelt toasts before moving into the barrel room for dancing!  Although it was a cooler than anticipated summer evening the room was kept warm by the very full the dance floor and celebratory energy.

Congratulations Ted & Savitha, and thank you for allowing me to be a part of your special day!

After an unseasonably cool, rainy week, it was the perfect northwest summer day for Cindy & Tim's wedding at JM Cellars in Woodinville. Their ceremony was surrounded by greenery, casting the perfect amount of shade from the warm August sun. The aisle was marked by white, candle-lit lanterns and the alter was perfect draped in cream and blush linens, in keeping with Cindy's soft color accents.

The cocktail hour and reception featured subtle farmhouse style accents, with wine barrels used as glass topped tables and long, dark wood farmhouse tables. Rustic, vintage-inspired chandeliers were brought in to cast a beautiful dim lighting in the barrel room for dinner, where guests enjoyed thoughtful toasts and an array of JM Cellars best wines.

Cindy and Tim and their guests danced the night away with the barn doors open, allowing guests to flow from the dance floor to the patio lit by bistro-lights and under the stars as they wished. Best wishes to the newlyweds!
