Kara + Micah
There are times you just meet with a client and things just "click", they trust you, you adore them, and you guys can almost pick things up like great friends. Upon meeting Kara and Micah, it was just that simple. Every planning meeting was fun, we shared laughs, jokes and made decisions.
With roots in Oregon, Kara wanted to showcase to her friends and Micah's family what the PNW was all about. They chose Ironlight in Lake Oswego for their venue and it couldn't have been a more beautiful day in May (well, it could have been a few degrees cooler, if you ask Micah).
The sun was shining and Mt. Hood was on display in all her glory. Kara and Micah expressed their love in front of their closest loved ones with a beautifully scripted ceremony, officiated by Kara's aunt (and mom's twin sister).
Guests then made their way inside for appetizers and drinks before a fabulous plated dinner by Art of Catering. Simple yet elegant centerpieces by Blum Floral softened the space giving it a more romantic feel. Guests danced to their heart's content on the black and white checkered dance floor to music by Event Team Entertainment.
It was a great way to kick off the wedding season and a night we won't soon forget. Thank you to Kara, Micah and Jane (Kara's mom) for having me be a part of such a spectacular day!
