McKenzie + George

The final event for McKenzie and George (our founder’s brother!) was a block party that took place in NW Portland. Balloons on Broadway adorned the tables and surrounding fences with colorful balloons, and Wacky Wavy greeted George and McKenzie’s friends and family upon their arrival to this untraditional reception.

With Jenga, corn hole, an antique photo booth and a gigantic, inflatable wrecking ball, there was no shortage of entertainment for guests.

With so many activities to choose from, guests certainly worked up an appetite, and luckily, there was also no lack of food options. Guests enjoyed a variety of food truck selections, including; eclectic, Baja-style Mexican food from El Diablito, comfort food classics with a twist from Retrolicious and Mediterranean favorites from Aybla Grill.

The main event was an epic arm wrestling competition with the championship round kicking off the festivities. Afterwards, Dirty Revival took the stage and kept the dance floor full throughout the evening!

Bridal Bliss celebrated our unique vision and helped us make it all happen. They quickly became a part of our “team” and my hubs and I felt like winners. The process was easy and fun. Our planner communicated with vendors, troubleshot, determined timelines, removed any headaches and brought it all to life seamlessly.
