The First Look

Debating whether or not to see each other before the wedding ceremony? Nora went on KPTV’s MORE Good Day Oregon with some pointers on the subject! Take a peek!

The first look is the first time a couple sees each other before the ceremony! Typically it kicks off the formal photos and a wonderful moment to capture. A few tips:

  • Loop your photographer in. Have a vision? Share it! Talk logistics and specifics.

  • Don't forget cinematographer as well! You can get some really amazing footage.

  • Keep gawkers to a minimum. Too many people makes it feel forced and awkward, especially if you are in a public place!

  • Leave plenty of time. Makeup needs to be touched up, and you need some time alone to take it all in!

  • The perks of a first look, rather than waiting to see each other as you’re walking down the aisle, are really enjoying your time taking photos, having a stress-free walk down the aisle, and getting to cocktail with your guests!

  • New trend--first look with your dad or bridesmaids!
