Trend Gone Viral: Marijuana Bars!

A few weeks ago we had the opportunity to be one of the first to execute what just may be a hot new wedding trend in Oregon…a marijuana bar!  We posted a few photos on SOCIAL MEDIA and they have gone completely viral.  Details from our interview have been posted internationally in such publications as ELITE DAILY, USA TODAY, HUFFINGTON POST,MASHABLE, COSMOPOLITAN, METRO UK, FOOD WORLD NEWS and YAHOO UK to name just a few.   The response has been either love or hate, which is no surprise.

This idea was completely thought up by the client and they chose all of the weed varietals on their own. The groom also happens to grow marijuana professionally.  ELIZABETH CORR worked with a licensed “BUD TENDER” to manage the bar on the private property and made sure transportation was available for guests.  While our coordinators obviously did not partake, they did mention that it was very well received by guests.  This may not be for everyone–this particular couple was thrilled with the outcome.  Love it or hate it, this is clearly a very unique idea for the wedding industry. To each their own, right?!?
