Katherine + Bradley

Katherine and Bradley got married at the historic First Presbyterian Church in downtown Portland, a church that was built in 1890! The ceremony was officiated by the bride’s 89-year-old grandfather, who has had the honor and privilege of officiating most of his family members’ weddings. It was truly special to witness.

The reception was held in the Grand Kridel Ballroom at the Portland Art Museum, a truly magnificent room that was filled with candlelight and the fresh fragrance of lush floral arrangements from Blüm Floral Design, and elegant uplighting from the Artful Venues. Guests enjoyed steak sliders, and shrimp and chorizo skewers as soon as they entered the ballroom, which paired deliciously with the signature cocktails: the Strangelove (Hers: Vodka, Spicy Ginger, Lime, Mint) and the County Cooler (His: Bourbon, Strong Black Tea, Orange, Lemon, Cinnamon Bitters). For dinner, Devil’s Food Catering served Grilled Peach Salad, Filet of Beef with Cognac Cream Sauce, Bourbon Cured PNW Salmon with Bing Cherry Relish, Potatoes Robuchon and Grilled Broccolini. The guests enjoyed every single bite!

After listening to heartfelt toasts, Katherine and Bradley cut into their 4-tier cake from Baker and Spice, before making their way to the dance floor. Patrick Lamb kept the dancefloor full all night with his band Hit Factory, and the newlyweds were all smiles from beginning to end. Katherine and Brad, it was such a pleasure to work with you to help you piece together an amazing event.

Best wishes for a wonderful marriage full of many new adventures together!

XOXO, Candida
