I met Katie while planning her best friend Kait's weddings a few years ago. These two girls are thick as thieves and both such amazing humans. When Katie emailed me telling me she had gotten engaged I was beyond excited for her and honestly couldn't wait to start wedding planning. I met Andrew soon after and together these two are the best. Just all around genuine and caring people!
We dove in and booked First Presbyterian Church to say heartfelt I Do's followed by a fun reception at Loft at 8th Avenue. The church had such a gorgeous interior that we kept things simple by adding some floral touches and then let the rest of the space speak for itself and its natural beauty!
We worked with Swoon Florals to create candle lit tables with lush greenery to keep the tables classic and thoughtful—which really sums up Katie and Andrew’s style. I loved how the simplistic elegance of this look turned out. It was such a treat to watch their family and friends celebrate the two of them!
Paradox kept the dance floor full all night long, getting guests to work up an appetite for the late night snacks and sparkler send off!
