Catherine + Bryan
The planning process for Catherine and Bryan's big day was an absolute blast! The couple selected Irving Street Studio as their venue with the help of fellow Bridal Bliss coordinator Catherine Sammon. The venue was under construction when they first toured it, so it was exciting to see the completed venue as we approached the big day! While Catherine Sammon assisted with the venue search, I got the pleasure of working with Catherine, Bryan, and Catherine's mom Suzanne on planning the details and bringing the couple's vision to life!
The wedding day began with Catherine and her bridesmaids getting ready at her parent's home in Lake Oswego, while Bryan and the groomsmen got ready at The Canopy by Hilton. The couple, who loves nature, chose Hoyt Arboretum for their first look. After a fun photo session with Kimberly Kay, the couple headed to Irving Street Studio for their vows!
The ceremony took place in the West Room, where Brenna Burnett did a beautiful job of softening up the space with greenery and a circular floral installation as the ceremony backdrop. Catherine's uncle Mark officiated the ceremony, balancing humor with wisdom. After the ceremony, the West Room was quickly flipped to create a space for guests to mingle during cocktail hour.
After cocktail hour, guests made their way into the East Room for dinner. Guest tables were decorated with alternating centerpieces of pillar candles and floral arrangements, while a beautiful garland accented the head table. A delicious family style dinner by Chefstable was followed by a very special set of toasts, which included Catherine's dad Russ singing a song he wrote for the couple. For dessert Catherine and Bryan chose delicious macarons from Lady Yum in Seattle and tartlets by Chefstable.
There was no shortage of fun as the dance floor was packed the entire night! The SnapBar photo booth was an absolute hit with everyone, and there were late night snacks to keep the party going!
