Cristi + Mike

When two people are able to find love, it's truly something special- no matter the circumstance or at what stage in life.  Cristi and Mike, both widowed, met through mutual friends. They celebrated their love on a beautiful weekend in May at both their home for their rehearsal dinner and then Stoller Family Estate for their wedding, places that had meaning to them.

We started the weekend off with the rehearsal dinner in their barn.  With the barn beautifully renovated with Cristi's touch, they hosted their close family and friends to a BBQ dinner provided by Art of Catering. The decor was simple, yet elegant with colorful floral, white wooden tables and Pendelton blankets to keep guests warm as the night went on.  The kids, both young and older, played in the bouncy house on the lawn, while others danced to music provided by Event Team or sat by the fires spaced throughout the area. A great start to the weekend.

On the wedding day, the ceremony left no dry eye in the house, as Cristi and Mike made sure to honor their late spouses in their ceremony- a true testament to the love they share and bonded over. While guests enjoyed a variety of different canapés provided by the talented in-house catering team at Stoller, our team moved quickly to transform the inside of the Experience Center for dinner. La Tavola/BBJ linens, beautiful coral and white peonies and candlelight to bring in the softness and romanticize the space.

Cristi then changed into her dancing dress, a black fitted gown to dance her first dance with Mike that they had choreographed by Dance Instructor Lindsey to kick off the fun dance party that took place outside on the patio, under the stars and a tent of fairy lights. It was a magical night for the couple. An evening to never forget.

XOXO, Katy
