Keats + Anshul

Weddings are made memorable when a couple’s personality can be revealed through the details of their big day. Keats and Anshul accomplished this in the most authentic and stylish way. They had a vision from the start, and it was so fun to help them put the pieces together to create an unforgettable experience for their family and friends at The Evergreen in downtown Portland. To quote one of their guests, “you could see their fingerprint on every element of the entire event”; from the mix of dried and fresh florals, to the light and dark earth tones of the dinnerware, from their signature drinks, to the outfit changes, to disco balls EVERYWHERE.

Seated in the round, you could feel the love from the start, as friends and family applauded each of the wedding party members as they made their way down the aisle. The look on Anshul’s face was priceless as Keats and her dad walked towards him, both with happy tears in their eyes. After the couple exchanged rings, and sealed their vows with a kiss, guests were invited downstairs to Loyal Legion to enjoy the cocktail hour. Signature drinks were passed; Espresso Martini (his), and Winter Gin and Tonic with Cranberry (hers), while Devil’s Food Catering passed around Pear Pizzettas and Xiao Lang Bao Spoons, for everyone to enjoy while they waited for the reception to begin.

Anshul and Keats’ loved ones were treated to an incredible meal of Farm Tatsoi Salad, Devil’s Fried Chicken, Vol-au-Vent with Butternut Squash-Sweet Potato Hash, Potatoes Robuchon, and Roasted Brussel Sprouts, to help fuel them up for a night of non-stop dancing. With Higher Ground Entertainment playing a mix of musical genres to fuse the groups’ cultures together, the dance floor stayed packed until the last song of the night. Keats and Anshul, your wedding was stunning all around, and the most magical part of it all was the theme of love and family that resonated from start to finish.

From high school sweethearts, to “Happily Ever After,” I wish you all the best for a beautiful life, together.

XOXO, Candida
